The Tactical Response to Traumatic Injuries Act of California requires new buildings constructed on or after January 1, 2023 to keep at least 6 bleeding control kits on the premises.

Colorado House Bill HB 23-1213 requires Colorado schools that opt in to receive bleeding control kits and training. The bill specifies each school to receive between 3 and 10 kits based on the school population.

Connecticut House Bill HB 7200 requires at least 1 bleeding control kit to be on every floor of government buildings.
